    This one-day workshop is designed for professionals working in the field of onsite wastewater treatment, dispersal, and maintenance. It is designed to meet the needs of installation contractors, sanitarians, system designers, and others who work in this field. The workshop provides a basic understanding of the functional characteristics of conventional septic systems and alternatives that are commonly used in Iowa. This course is a prerequisite for the Time of Transfer Certified Inspector Program, for those with less than two years of experience. Instructor - Cory Frank

  2. Time of Transfer Inspector Training

    This two-day workshop is designed for professionals working in the field of onsite wastewater treatment, dispersal, and maintenance. You must have an approval letter from the DNR before registering for this class. Iowa's time of transfer septic system inspection law (SF261) was passed by the Iowa legislature in April of 2008 and took effect July 1, 2009. The new law requires that every home/building served by a septic system have that septic system inspected prior to the sale or deed transfer for the home/building. All inspections must be conducted by an inspector that has been certified by the department. Instructor - Cory Frank

    This is an immunization clinic for children up to the age of 18 that have Medicaid (T19), that are under-insured (insurance doesn't cover immunization) or have NO insurance. You MUST call to set up an appointment, (641-257-6111) please call in advance as clinic does fill up in advance. If you do not have T19, we will ask for a $19.00 donation fee for each shot.
