The Floyd County Board of Supervisors met for workshop at on Monday, September 18, 2006 in the Board Room of the Floyd County Courthouse with the following in attendance:Chairman Staudt, Supv. Dunkel and Supv. Enabnit.
Dunkel/Enabnit moved to add noting the PH/HHC Chart Audit and Client Survey to the agenda.Motion carried 3-0.Dunkel/Enabnit moved to approve the agenda as amended.Motion carried 3-0.
The Board noted the Chairman signed the PH/HHC quarterly Chart Audit.Pat Zwanziger, PH/HHC Director, reviewed some comments from the Client Satisfaction Survey for 2006.These documents are located in the PH/HHC office.
The Board discussed the CountyLibrary agreement.Virginia Ruzicka, Floyd County Librarian, has removed “28E” from the agreement and asked the Board to reconsider signing the agreement.The Board will act on this at the next regular meeting.
The Auditor explained the State LAE reimbursement process to FloydCounty for DHS’s direct and indirect costs.The state will only reimburse the control county for the total direct costs. Non-control counties do not get a reimbursement from the state for direct costs.The Board discussed adjusting the formula used for billing non-control counties.
The Board noted the signing of the National Incident Management System (NIMS) Statement of Compliance for Floyd County Emergency Management, the Hazardous Materials Emergency Plan – Basic Plan – FloydCounty, and Part A – Operations Countywide Multi-Hazard Plan for Annex’s P and Q being approved.
The Board noted the resignation of Deputy Sheriff Cameron Manson effective September 26.Sheriff Lynch will be filling the position in the near future either from the current civil service list or by advertisement.
The Board discussed the leak at the DHS building.The Auditor will call for repairs.The Board discussed potential problems with the roof at the courthouse.The Board will budget for roof expenses in the next budget year.
