The Floyd County Board of Supervisors met for workshop at on Monday, November 13, 2006 in the Board Room of the Floyd County Courthouse with the following in attendance:Chairman Staudt, Supv. Dunkel, and Supv. Enabnit.
Enabnit/Dunkel moved to approve the agenda as presented.Motion carried 3-0.
The Board will review claims individually after the meeting.
Frank Rottinghaus, CountyTreasurer, explained the changes with PolkCounty clearing funds for online and credit card payments that PolkCounty will be administering in conjunction with Iowa Interactive.The CountyAttorney has the agreement to review.
Brian Tiedemann, Deputy Sheriff, dropped off the proposed Deputies contract for review.
Jeff Sherman, Planning/E911 Addressing/Sanitarian, discussed a couple of issues in Marble Rock.One issue is in regard to properties in poor condition and the other issue is in regard to several animals at a location in the city limits.Unless there is a health hazard, the county has no jurisdiction and the city should seek advice from their legal counsel.Supv Enabnit will visit with the mayor of Marble Rock.
The Board completed an ISAC survey regarding regionalism initiatives.
