The Floyd County Board of Supervisors met for a workshop meeting at on Monday, October 1, 2007 in the Board Room of the Floyd County Courthouse with the following in attendance:Supv. Enabnit, Chair Pro-Tem and Supv. Staudt; Absent:Chairman Dunkel
Staudt/Enabnit moved to approve the agenda as presented.Motion carried 2-0.
Gloria Carr, Auditor, provided a Central Lock quote for the push button equipment on the north door of the courthouse.The exterior door will be fixed by the end of this week.Carr is waiting to hear if we can still qualify for the polling place grant to offset the cost of this project.
Pat Zwanziger, Public Health/Home Health Care Director, reviewed the Bioterrorism plan with the Board.There have been no changes to the plan that was approved last year but the plan has to be reviewed and approved every year even if there are no changes.
The Board noted the wage increase from $9.42 to $9.68 per hour for Carol Carson, Home Health Care Aide, after completing the required hours of employment with the pay period ending October 5.
The Board noted that Staci Dahl, RN, has been terminated effective September 20.
The Board noted the status change from part time to full time for Katherine Baldwin, RN, who will fill the vacated full time position of Staci Dahl.
Carr provided two quotes from Solutions for a new AS400 server.The existing system will be good until the next version and release of the software.The new server includes three years of maintenance and is comparable to the cost of three years of maintenance on the current server.Carr would like to order the new server and have it in place by the December 31 expiration of the current serverís maintenance agreement.
A motion was made by Supervisor Enabnit and seconded by Supervisor Staudt to adjourn.Motion carried 2-0.
