The Floyd County Board of Supervisors met for regular session at on Monday, November 10, 2008 in the Board Room of the Floyd County Courthouse with the following in attendance:Chairman Enabnit, Supv. Staudt, and Supv. Dunkel.
Staudt/Dunkel moved to amend the agenda to include review/action regarding well drilling for geothermal heating/cooling system.Motion carried 3-0.Staudt/Dunkel moved to approve the agenda as amended.Motion carried 3-0.
Dunkel/Staudt moved to approve the Oct 27, 28, and November 3, 2008 minutes.Motion carried 3-0.
Staudt/Dunkel moved to approve the following claims: County #1250-1390, Secondary Roads #11163-11201, MH-DD #58159-58173. Motion carried 3-0.
Dunkel/Staudt moved to table action regarding hiring a Medicaid Case Manager until more information becomes available.Motion carried 3-0.
The Board noted the fees collected from the Clerk of Court totaling $1,622.85 for the month of October.
The Board discussed going to Soy Basics to see the units used for their heating/cooling system.Photos of the units were provided at last week’s Department Head meeting and Department Heads were invited to go to Soy Basics if they were interested.The Auditor will set up a date and time to tour the facility.No action was taken regarding well drilling on the courthouse property for a geothermal heating/cooling system.
A motion was made by Supervisor Staudt and seconded by Supervisor Dunkel to adjourn.Motion carried 3-0.
