Floyd County Board of Supervisors Meeting

The Floyd County Board of Supervisors met for workshop session at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, March 12, 2012 in the Board Room of the Floyd County Courthouse with the following in attendance: Chairman Kamm and Supv. Kuhn; Absent: Supv. Dunkel.
Kuhn/Kamm moved to approve the agenda as presented. Motion carried 2-0.
The Board will review claims individually on their own.
Supv Kamm attended a meeting with ADM representatives regarding the 180th St road use. Supv Kuhn spoke about the watershed authority meeting last week and a future meeting in a few weeks.
The Board noted $5,296.15 in fees collected by the Clerk of Court for the month of February.
The Board noted the resignation of John Hayes from the Civil Service Commission. The County Attorney is working on finding a replacement to serve the remainder of the term that ends June 30, 2017.
The Board noted a 3% wage increase effective March 19, 2012 for Tracy Sindt, Clerk in the Auditor’s office, following a 6-month probationary period.
The Board noted the receipt of an ordinance from City of Marble Rock for the “Division of Taxes Levied on Taxable Property in the 2012 Addition to the Bradford Street Economic Development District.”
The Board noted the receipt of the Central Iowa Juvenile Detention Center audit report for the year ending June 30, 2011.

Kuhn/Kamm motioned to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried 2-0.
