Floyd County Board of Supervisors Meeting

The Floyd County Board of Supervisors met in the Board Room of the Floyd County Courthouse with the following in attendance: Supv. Kamm, Chair, Supv Kuhn and Supv. Dunkel.
Kuhn/Dunkel moved to approve the agenda as presented. Motion carried 3-0.
Public comment: None.
Dunkel/Kuhn moved to approve the minutes of October 8, 9 and 15, 2012. Motion carried 3-0.
Kuhn/Dunkel moved to approve the following claims: County #952-1107, Secondary Roads #14628-14661, and MH-DD #59574-59581 and Drain #6. Motion carried 3-0.
Dunkel/Kuhn moved to approve a 28E Intergovernmental Agreement Creating County Social Services. Motion carried 3-0. This agreement adds Fayette County to the consortium.
Dunkel/Kuhn moved to set a public hearing for a subdivision final plat for Molstead Estates #2 for November 13 at 9:30 a.m. Motion carried 3-0.
Kuhn/Dunkel moved to raise the county liability umbrella policy to $6 million. Motion carried 3-0.
Kuhn/Dunkel moved to set the public canvass of the General Election on November 13 at 2 p.m. Motion carried 3-0.
Engineerís report: Dusten Rolando, County Engineer, provided foremanís minutes. Right of way documents are being prepared for the Draeger property. Weed certification permits for employees are in process. PCC patching and pavement marking plans have been submitted to the IDOT. The Underwood Ave patching will likely be let in March. They are still working on plans for the sign truck. Rolando hasnít decided if he will overhaul a grader. Rolando provided a schedule of upcoming meetings. Brian Pickar, Engineerís Assistant, prepared tornado and fire evacuation maps for the courthouse. Crews are getting sanding equipment on trucks. Second Street property was discussed.
Dunkel/Kuhn motioned to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried 3-0.
