Septic Systems & Well Permit Fees
Fees for a septic permit and a well permit are $200 effective January 1, 2010, and must be paid to the County Sanitarian prior to any work commencing. Access ordinances and procedures concerning the installation of septic systems for more information.
Septic Permit Requirement
I am requiring that a septic permit application be filled out before I meet with you on site.
This can be done in a few different ways:
1. Click here to fill out the online application. Log in with your E-Mail and password. If this is your first online permit then you may have to create an account by clicking on the Create Profile tab at the bottom. Then fill out the form and click on 'Submit' or 'Submit and Print' if you want a hard copy.
2. Have the owner go on line and fill it out using the link above (can also be found from the Floyd County main page under How To, then Apply, then Septic Permit).
3. Give a hard copy to the owner to fill out then give me that when we meet.
4. Come into the office and we will help you or the owner fill out a permit application.
