The drawing for the youth deer hunting permits will be on Monday Sept. 9th at 9 a.m. at the Fossil & Prairie Center, Rockford. Need not be present. Selected individuals will be notified regarding selection and pre-hunt meeting. For any questions, contact Floyd County Conservation at 641-756-3490
The area open will be from south of the designated refuge line and the 40 acres east along the Shell Rock River. Youth hunters will be assigned a designated site.
